Cursive Grace: What Grace are you looking for?

HELLOOOO EVERYONE!!

Welcome (finally) to our little corner of the web! We are so so happy to finally bring Cursive Grace out into the world and for you all to see.

This has been a longggg, long time in the making - like seriously, so long - and Mariel and myself are SO stoked to finally share with you this not-so-secret project we've been working on for the last few months.

We initially had the idea to create Cursive Grace back in the summer of 2018 as a way to keep each other accountable spiritually. I (Celeste) had moved back to Vancouver, so we had to figure out a way to keep walking alongside each other, on opposite ends of the country... and this is one of those few times where I thank God for the internet!

As we communicated back and forth over the summer and into the fall, keeping each other up to date on how our hearts have been, we realized that we wanted to create something greater for the Lord - not just for the two of us. Yes, something for where the two of us could talk about our prayer lives, what we've been struggling with, and how Jesus has been moving our hearts; but we didn't want to just help each other anymore. It's a known fact that none of us can grow to the capacities we're meant to by ourselves, and so what better way to do so than to have as many companions on the journey as possible!

What if we created a space where we could not only help each other strive to be better daughters of God, but help anyone and everyone on this same crazy journey to holiness? What if we created a space for true digital fellowship for those who don't have an accountability partner? A place where everyone in their messes can feel not only seen but loved in the midst of it; and a place where glory stories can be told for all to hear and celebrate. A place where words, lessons, heart-ache, victories, stepping stones, and everything in-between could be brought to the light and embraced. Seen. Recognized. Loved. This is Cursive Grace.

Cursive Grace, through the help of nothing but God's own, serves as a place for young Catholics to constantly be inspired and held by love through Scripture, our own words, and our art. We want to help encourage you brothers and sisters and help you become the best versions of yourselves, inspire you to discover your gifts, and live a life pleasing to the Lord by sharing helpful resources and beautiful truths. What we learn on our journeys, we want to pass on to you in yours; and then we want you to share that knowledge with others!

Whether you need an accountability partner for upping your prayer life, encouragement in receiving the sacraments, or ultimately the ever important reminder of giving YOURself the grace to be gentle in the journey - we are here for you.

Cursive Grace is yours - to give you an e-hug, to make you laugh, to give you the space to cry, to motivate you to do and be better, and to remind you of your worth. We are here to serve God first, and you second (Hope you don't mind being second place in this scenario but we are confident you understand).

So if you'd be so kind, we'd absolutely love for you to join us as we strive to grow in virtue, sisterhood/brotherhood, and love for the Lord.
